Hello i'm dealing with problem regarding paypal withdraw
 

I have change the phone number and confirm and everything went okay.
but the security check is always asking for the old number?
I have mark my new number as primary number.

Quick security check

We just need some additional information to confirm it's you.

That was also happened to me. I change my phone number few days after account creation. But paypal ask verification for the old number. And i called paypal and everything was fixed with end of the call.

In my experience, takes 3-4 weeks for new number to be recognized. This was before the Nazi January 27th confirm your info (papers please) apocalypse. Things may have changed now.

you can't add numbers on paypal anymore..........if you lost access to old phone number your fvcked.......

unless you can call and answer the database questions then they will do whatever you want.

I left the account, went back after 7 days, and deleted the old number and it worked for me. You just have to wait a couple working days for the security to reset

are you trying to say that after 7 days your new number that you added in your profile worked?

were you using a real phone number from major wireless carriers and not a google voice number?

if that is the case I would like to see proof on the quick security check that your new number has automatically been added..........

I added a new number because it kept telling me to verify my old one which i didn't have access to. Bearing in mind im trying yo withdraw after 180 days.
I added the new number, and set it as primary after a couple tries because it wasn't letting me. I tried deleting the old one but it wouldn't go. So i left the account for days before coming back, went straight to settings and deleted the old one, only the new one was there as my primary number and i verified my account then.

I was using proper sim cards not google voice , however, this is UK paypal.

Yes, it told me to verify the number ending with xxxx which was my new number, as my old one had been deleted. You just have to give the system time i think. I've only done it once, and didn't need to call in or anything.

Yes i verified it by text, and that was the only number there. I've said it 3 times now. However, it did take me 3-4 weeks to actually withdraw the money as i couldn't add the bank account, then i came back, verified the number and added and withdrew

I'm not sure what you're talking about. You don't need to register the name to the sim. I didnt use google voice or anything.

I used a REAL SIM from a network.

Hey Jarsky- Don't know what your problem is. Maybe in Italy you can't add or change a phone number without calling in. I've changed numbers and let them age 3-4 weeks and am passing quick security checks with new numbers on about 50 accounts in the past 2 months- as recently as 2 weeks ago. Please stop questioning my personal experience. Thanks.

My advice in this post has been confirmed by another member of the forum. My only goal in this forum is to help others with my knowledge of Paypal and eBay and to learn what I can from others. There's no need to be rude and since you're not a moderator, there's also no need to tell others what they can or can not post.

It happened to me all the same recently ,and after they did not accept the document s I uploaded, now my funds are freezed there for 180 days( fortunately only 70 euros and was not connected to any eBay accounts)
