180 day hold - contacting Paypal
 

I contacted Paypal with a very nice and honest message asking if they can release at least some of the money from my permanently limited Paypal account. There's about $10k in there. The Paypal account is fully verified, fully legit info, and 5 years old.

Here's what they told me:

I'm posting this because it may be of interest to some of you.

But also, some say to keep trying to contact them and ask them to release at least some of your money before the 180 day period. Should I continue? Reply to the message, try to politely argue my case with the rep. If it goes nowhere, then call them, ask to speak to a supervisor or something, etc.

I don't think you'll see that money before 180 days unfortunately, then they'll ask you to provide ID and proof of address to withdraw.

Good luck OP - wait it out - don't let future accounts get this high up in amount in the account.

for everyone here, if you dont have ssn, you may have a hard time getting your money out even after 180 days. gaypal are liars and thieves and will sometimes not even release without docs. If you get a rep demanding picture of ssn keep calling. After calling 100 times I realized its up to the discretion of certain reps. Women reps are the fvcking WORST. fvcking cvnts.

Does this apply to everyone or just because his funds is huge ($10k)?

I find it ironic they close their "parting ways" email with "Have a nice day!"

This is exactly why people need stealth accounts, and lots of them.

@DezRfc1 - Yeah, I don't think I'll see the money before 180 days either. I replied to that message, it's been 2 days now, they still didn't get back to me. We'll see if they do. It doesn't hurt to try, I guess.

@rsot - Thanks man. Yeah, lesson learned, won't do that again.

@iamlmfao - thanks for the info. This is actually a completely legitimate personal account. They could ask me for a picture of my penis to compare with the one of me they have in their database, and I could send it and it would match. Hmm... may need 3 photos to make it fit :D

@nickopedia - if irony was made of strawberries... milkshakes for all! :)
