I have a neighbor that says he puts money on his cash app on his phone and uses his paypal funds to buy stuff locally, Dang if that works that would be cool, any feedback.

That's like saying I buy stuff at wallmart with one debit card then head over to Walgreens and use another...

Well maybe I wasn't SPECIFIC enough for you guys, He puts money on his cashapp FROM paypal so he doesn't need to use a bank acct, is that more plain for you.

Using his cash app card? I mean...cool I guess. Why is this blowing you mind? Cash app requires a bank so its really not any different than transferring to your bank card. Maybe I'm missing something here...

Cash app? I have it. Its by Square. You have to link a bank account though. They give you a VCC you can use with your balance and they'll send you a debit card if you request one. Its decent.

I just don't get why OP is so wowed that it works with PayPal when it doesn't help with stealthing

You guys are really this in the dark when it comes to cash app? I thought cash app was pretty ubiquitous and even if its not, it seems most around here would know it since its a PayPal competitor. I'm surprised

cash app allows you to make transactions using bitcoins, perhaps this is meant to exclude the Bank

Well the person who has the cashapp does not have a bank account, doesn't even have a pictured ID, so it is confusing, that is why I posted, I have burned 5 bank accounts and presently have 8 working with paypal, so if no bank is attached to cashapp that would save me from burning bank accts.

Okay well then he's just sending $$, not receiving. Which in regards to this conversation and stealth PayPal is pretty useless. Pulled directly from Cash/Square's website:

This has to be a real debit card too. Prepaid cards don't work (I've tied most of them).
