Thisguy | 02-21-2019 10:45 PM | Ayden If been researching Ayden but not sure what I have to actually do to accept payments through it.
Anyone done this yet? |
nickopedia | 02-22-2019 03:23 AM | Re: Ayden There have been a number of threads about the transition to Managed Payments powered by Adyen's financial network.
Right now it's not a requirement for sellers, but that's expected to change at some point in the future. |
Lucynda | 03-18-2019 02:36 PM | Re: Ayden I have started it. It's pretty simple. I used a business bank with my business name and LLC as an extra precaution but you may not need it. They accepted stealth info no problem. I sold 1k on account in 5 days and they asked for a photo ID. They did not ask for bank statements, invoices, or anything else. I haven't provided them with an ID yet but banks don't have access to DMV records and they also accept EIN's and only ask for the last 4 of the social just like paypal do I don't foresee a problem when I do submit the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID. |

We also need to hear more experiences like this signing up with, and selling under Adyen's gateway. |
Re: Ayden I'm also waiting for this to be available at PH. It's worth a try, tbh. |

Roughly the same. Microscopic amount of savings compared to Paypal which eBay is touting at every opportunity. |
agent006140 | 03-19-2019 03:34 PM | Re: Ayden Paypal offers other features like 1% cash back when you use its MC debit card which taps your Paypal fund backed by bank fund.
Does AYden deposit your sales proceeds to your bank account? |
nickopedia | 03-19-2019 09:33 PM | Re: Ayden On the onset, most of what I'm reading about Adyen is positive, but not sure it's going to be stealth friendly as they are likely to do identity verification. Even so, there will always be a few scofflaws who will resort to using others identities without permission (Identity Theft) instead of opening a company and applying for a legal TIN/EIN # and following the rules.
From what I'm reading Adyen will disperse funds automatically on a rotating basis into the designated bank account. Most Merchant Processors already do this. |
RichardCard82 | 03-21-2019 03:10 PM | Re: Ayden Will Ayden also work as its stand alone service? for those that don't currently sell on eBay, can we still get payments? (like paypal pretty much). I do have an LLC and EIN i'd like to use whenever they do offer service to everyone |

Right now the tradeoff seems to be slightly lower payment processing fees in return for having your customer base slashed by 90%. |

At first they were saying it would be removed in the beginning of March. Now they're saying it won't be removed until May 1st but I can't make any new listings with my merch account as the payment method. |
