Paypal "Sub-accounts"
 

I have a plan that I want run by to see if you think this will work.

-I want to open up eBay stealth accounts but I don't want to have to jump between PayPal accounts after 20k in sales. (I will be making about 30k in sales a month on each eBay account).

-I WANT to be tax-compliant.

-I have the PayPal account verified with my LLC info. It is totally legit and I'll be paying taxes when the 1099 is issued. I've been using it to receive payments from an eBay account for several months and it has passed document validation, etc.

- There is an option to create new "email addresses" in the PayPal account. I can create up to 7 email address.

- I want to create 6 additional "stealth" eBay accounts but use the same PayPal account to receive payments except I'll use a new "email address" for each paypal account.

The goal is to be able to collect all payments on the same PayPal which will make taxes simpler. Also, this will allow me to not have to worry about the 20k limitation.

Will this plan work? Will the unique email address be considered separate Paypal accounts by eBay or will they be able to link all of the eBay accounts to that same Paypal?

Please let me know if anyone has done this before and if it will be successful.

No it will not work. Payments are still going to the same paypal even tho they’re different emails, and at 20k you will be issued 1099

I actually don't care about the 1099. The only thing I care about is if the process works to not lose my eBay or paypal accounts.

I actually prefer to receive the 1099 since I would be tax compliant and not breaking any laws.

Well if ONE of your stealth accounts gets into trouble (paypal) al will be gone and a lot of times the Ebays go down too.

A paypal account can have up to 6 email addresses,with one being the primary.
There is no separate balance per email addr,you get one balance for all.
and yes,you get 1099 for that Paypal account if you have 200 transactions AND $20k in sales.

There is really just one PAypal account,so if that one is suspended,all your ebay accounts wont have a paypal account to accept payment,so your Ebay selling career is toast

they are not subaccounts,they are just email addresses.

But there is anytroublee if i use the whole 7 accounts just to receive little money.. 50 bucks in each one just two ot three times per month? Arround 700or 1000 bucks.. ?

You can use all 7 email addresses to receive payment,but there will be just one balance,not 7 .
unless these 7 email addresses accept 7 different currencies,and you ask PAYPAL not to convert payments in foreign currency to your local currency.
