PayPal did not reset annual selling limit
 

PayPal usually reset limit on 1/15, so all accounts that did not go over 200 transactions without SSN can start selling again. However, for this year, none of my stealth account has been reset, even for one that’s active for selling. Anyone know why?

They had been doing reset by sending out email on 1/15 for the pass few years, however, the account seller said there are some delay and some unknown reason. I didnt call coz my own account had been banned for long time...lol

Past post says they ain't doin it no more. Part of the 2019 initiative.

They won't be resetting this year. Provide EIN/SSN or account is unfortunately toast. If you want to continue operating under the same model as previous years you will need to make sure you don't hit enough sales to get the request.

I see, so what’s the exact selling number that they will send out first request?

Sometimes a few items...Other times 120 items....Sometimes 199 items. Sometimes $1200 other times $30,000

Depends on the month, sales velocity and items being sold.

Sell 20 $10,000 items over a few months and you wont have any request. Sell 50 $1.00 items in a day and you will have it within a few days.

Its going to vary. Nobody has the inside info.

I can say I've sold 70k rev with about 150 sales and not had any request. I'm currently shutting that account down, for the rest of this year.

I sell 0-5 items per day, avg being about 2 per day.

Mine was $56 in 3 months, so go figure.

Have to meet both thresholds. 200 AND $20k. (ie, if you did 250 and 70K)

I received 1099's for all of my accounts (granted they were converted to business accounts after being limited) but they did not all hit 200 sales or 20k, most did not. So I wouldn't put a lot of stock into that being their cutoff anymore, unless this is only because they were business accounts.
