How to give ebay refunds/unverified paypal account
 

I am trying to prepare myself for when my paypal account turns into a "claim it" unverified account on March 29. Since I won't be able to give ebay refunds via paypal how do you give refunds then? I know most of you know the answer so please help. I have about 2% of my ebay buyers open cases as I sell used clothes and most don't read the measurements before buying. It looks like my 11 year stealth paypal account that ran smoothly will no longer be on the 29th and hence my 11 year old stealth ebay account. I pray that there is a work around here.

refunds should still be able to come from your balance...because a refund almost always have to go back the same method the buyer pays.

If not your balance, from your checking account on paypal.

Ok, thanks. I thought that once you had a claim it unverified paypal account that you no longer held a balance. I hope that is true and they just take it out of my bank account.

You can always hook your checking account up to ebay to pay your fees and such. Or a credit card etc...

I pay my ebay fees with my bank account so maybe if they can't collect back from paypal they will take it from my bank account which would be great too. Thank you.

Refunds will still come from your balance, or your backup method if you dont have the funds in your account im assuming

It really has to go back to the buyer in the same method they paid....If not, paypal would be at a huge risk of chargeback or double dipped returns and they would never allow that.

I sure hope they come out of my bank account then. The ebay refunds are the only obstacle that I can see with a "claim it" unverified paypal account after the policty changes starting March 29. If that isn't a problem then maybe my stomach can become unknotted now.
