When you complete Claim It requirement what is next?
 

Hi. Does paypal ask for anything else (e.g. passport photo, ssn photo, bank account or anything else) after you submit ssn?

Or does the process work like this:

1) You enter last 4 digit ss code and dob.

2) PP instantly checks it in the database and if all is fine it immediately unlocks the balance and you can send/spend it.

Share your experience about this please.

depends, if your account has already been flagged it’ll ask for more. And it seems like if you put in an ssn not matching like name or something on the account they’ll instantly ask for more info and even lock you from withdrawaling.

Best bet is to try to do after you’ve withdrawn, I’ve never had any luck going past that message without needing to provide more info or getting limited

All I do is add bank account and everything is smooth sailing.

outside USA using USA accounts you guys need to find a withdrawal method.

To actually answer your question - Yes. You input your DOB and SSN. They check it against the national SSN database. If the DOB+SSN match the name and address on the account then you immediately have access to the balance functionality of the account.
If the info does NOT match then the account is immediately limited.

I dont know about you guys but my "claim it" features has turned into a "accept the money" feature. Anybody else been seeing this?

More than likely a change in the wording only in anticipation of the upcoming Mar 29th ToS update and the introduction of the 'cash account' feature.
