USA Paypal - non US user
 

Hi, been lurking the forum looking for answers regarding the new Paypal policies that go into effect by the end of the month.

I've been using an US-based-unconfirmed Paypal account for the past couple of years.

I'm not a huge seller (I don't actually sell anything over eBay or the like, all goods are digital and transactions been done through the Family & Friends option), nor manage large amounts of money (less than US$70/year) nor make more than 80 transactions a year: in summary, the account is used for very small transactions and I'd like to keep using it after the 29th.

Also, I'm not looking to withdraw these funds, I'd actually like to keep the balance available for use in said Paypal account.

All this because transaction fees for Costa Rican Paypal accounts are high and make my offers less attractive if I attach that Goods & Services percentage onto the pricing.

So my question is, would a stealth account work for me or am I SOL in this matter?

Im afraid youre SOL in this matter.
Its a stealth account so you wont be able to provide them with the DON and SSN to verify it - and unfortunately that is the ONLY way to maintain the full balance and payment sending functionality of the US paypal account.

Figured as much, but never hurts to ask.

How about an already verified account?
I've seen some around here but most are geared towards high volume eBay sellers, not part-time art commissions heh.
