Revolut VCCs - do they work?
 

I've seen many threads on Revolut.
None quite answer for me (or at least I don't understand fully).

Opening Paypal acc.
I need to give a credit card.
I can pay Revolut £6.99 a month (you need to commit to 12 months!!).
I then get unlimited disposable VCCs? I get one time use only ones.
(This is my understanding - have I got this wrong??)

Are these VCC's OK for opening new Paypal accs?

Just wanted clarification...

- Revolut gives me UNLIMITED vccs?
These are disposable - use once only?

- They are OK for using when signing up for a PP account?

- Is there not a problem... if signing up with PP, and PP want to add it as a backup or recurring payment method?

Steps are:

- Add Revolut vcc
- Add bank account (in my name)

Correct?

The cards are all AVS so you'll only be able to add them to Paypal accounts opened at your real address.

And it isn't unlimited. There are limits on how many cards can be created per day.

I've completely forgotten what avs are?
Can I associate with ANY address? Is this what an av allows?

READ the responses you've been given. It really isn't confusing at all.

Whether it will work for you or not is down to HOW you set up your Paypal accounts. If you want to create Paypal accounts at your real address then Revolut cards are fine to use. If you want to create Paypal accounts at random addresses then Revolut cards will NOT work as they will fail the AVS check.

In essence, AVS means the address the bank has on file needs to match the address on the PayPal.

So when revolut dishes out a bunch of card numbers, when you try add it to a PayPal where the address doesn't match, it will get declined.

paypal declines adding a revolut card, if zip doesn't match
