PAYPAL ask for id and other docs
 

I got my paypal account limited due to ebay sales after no activity in the past 2 years. Paypal is asking for ID, business info, tracking and receipt of purchase. It is a business account with creative owner's name. My question now is if I provide with some docs, can they track the # to find out it is other's name? Also, I still can update account profile. so is it a good idea that I update the account owner to the name on the id i can provide to paypal? Thanks for your advice. Really appreciate your help.

If you haven't used in 2 years and don't have money being held, why not just ditch the acct and start or buy a new one? Getting all those documents is possible but why waste the time

I have money being held by paypal now. I got payments for the sales on ebay recently.

You can easy get those docs. Josh here on the forums just helped me out. It is going to cost some cash though.

All I needed was an ID. The account was released within 10 min of submission.

I think with a business account,you will need to give them SSN

huh? You can't just change the name on PP , it'll absolutely lock your account .

Just give them the docs based on the PP info you originally submitted.

What I'm seeing is though is not the 2 year inactivity... I'm guessing you sold something that triggers it. What were you selling and how much?

You can change only a letter I believe on the account name. Anything beyond that and you need to submit an official request with an explanation - not a good thing to do with a limited account.
And I agree with Saijin - what were the items you sold? what amounts are involved?

if she has not sold on Ebay for 2 years and now she sold an item,but Ebay is not withholding the payment via Paypal,it may not be the item,but her Paypal account/
