Cannot confirm an address in the country you opened your Paypal
 

Hello,
I don't how this happened but i think i created my paypal account in a different country, i used real name and adress (from a family member). They asked for a proof of address and when i sent it they replied that it needs to be in the same country that i created my paypal.
I can't find where i can change the country in Paypal. Should i call them and say it was a mistake ?
I don't want to lose the account, it has over 1000$ in it
Please advice me.

I had the same situation as you, and I send them a bank statement and i pass. my account had more than 2k

If you have real info and documents just give them a call and speak to a real person. I'm sure they will sort it out for you.

YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE COUNTRY OF YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT,you would have to open another Paypal account in the country where you live,make sure you remove the credit card linked to the old account before you open the new one.
as for the money in the old account,I dont know,you will have to talk to Paypal

may be they will let you transfer your 100k from one account to another under friend and family?
