Money stuck for 2 years. Identity verification.
 

Hi everyone. I had a stealth Paypal account that was limited. I waited the 6 months and accessed it. I converted it to a business account and put my business name so I can send myself a check under my business. I do this with my other stealth accounts and it’s fine. This is the only account I had a problem with. After many tries, I am completely locked out. I can’t even log in. It just tells me to call them and when I do they ask me personal identity verification questions that I cannot answer. The thing is that I use real names and addresses of friends for my stealth account and unfortunately this account is under my friends name that moved out of the country so there’s no way to get the info. Again my other stealth accounts are also with real names and SSN and I haven’t had any problems. I need help withdrawing my money and answering the identity questions. Is there a website with that info? Thanks I’m advance.

So what you are saying you are not remembering the personal information that they are asking for?

I would have just withdrawn it and moved on.
Maybe you can get in contact with the "friend" and find their info.

Thanks for all the replies. Let me answer them:

I have all of the information as far as name, birthday, address, SSN etc. what they are asking when I call them is like which of these addresses have you ever lived at or where does your brother Michael live and it gives me 4 options to choose from.

My whole goal was to pull out the money as soon as the 6 months were over but I couldn’t because of this. I never had a chance to pull it out.



Yes I called them because that is the only option they give me now and that’s where they ask the questions I mentioned above.

Not really, but the situation is still not clear to me. So it is a stealth account with your friends name. And how can they ask personal questions that yo do not know the answer to? I am confused, how Paypal would know more of "your" personal life than you? They investigated after your friend and asking questions that you don't know the answer. Wouldn't your friend know the answers? You could tell them you are moved if address is the issue, it's been two years as you said. This case sounds pretty complicated, good luck man

I forgot to tell you just now I have been asked to sign my id with a solicitor, that was the juiciest they ever asked from me..
Paypal nowadays could be pretty annoying. Be careful

Subscribe to a website like truthfinder.com you can get everything you need except the SSN, that is the info they are looking at so you can answer most of the questions.

Paypal is asking questions about my friend that I am not in contact with anymore. Since he is a real person they have a database with info on him so they ask me questions about him that I don’t know about.

There must be a website that has the answers because Paypal uses the same sources to ask me the questions. Does anyone know of a website that can help me?

PayPal uses Lexus Nexus. Nobody else has that information except them, they know how tall you are on your drivers license, what color eyes you have, what color car you have or had. Like I said these other sites only have like addresses,family info etc. The best option for you is to trail and error the questions every 48hours. Record the calls eventually you will get them right.

I have 3 account that got limited with about 2k$ between them. can you tell me more about how you withdraw the money.

How I do it is to create a DBA and a bank account under the DBA. Then when the 6 months is over and you can withdraw funds, change the Paypal accounts to business accounts and change the name to the business name under the DBA and your address. Then I would just have them send me a check and I would deposit the check in the back without any problems. Worked everythime.

the multiple choice question Paypal wants you to answer must have been answered by your friend at one time,and they want you to tell them what these answers are.
if you are your friend,of course you remember which street you used to live on,so can you contact your friend or google his name and address to find previous addresses ,if he is really your friend,you must know something about him.
but the question about his brother Mike,only your friend would know
