It used to be that if I got a "Quick Security Check" message on my account while going through the check out process, since it was so complicated (impossible...?) to update the number to a current and new phone, at the suggestion of people here I'd give it a day or two without trying it, and usually a small or medium purchase would go through with no issues. This has worked for a LONG time (several years...?)
Now, over a week ago I bought about 3 things all in one evening, and on the 4th I got the "quick security check" and asking to confirm my (outdated) phone number. But the 3 sets of 2 days each that I waited, it still keeps coming up.
Are things different lately? Is my only option to withdraw to a bank? This is an account that I can spend from the balance of (at least until the April 1 update). Do I have any other options, have things changed from the time when we could just wait out this pop up message? Thanks in advance! |
