Can't send money, this is frustrating 😭
 

So whenever I try to send money with PP I get that "can't send money right now" error!! :attention:

I called customer service and they said it's a security triggered thing and that there's nothing they could do!

What should I do now?

I heard you can use a pre-paid VISA card to withdraw to it with no errors, is it true? If so where can buy one?

No you cannot use a pre paid card to withdraw funds. Don't know who told you that but that's plain wrong.
Is this a US paypal account?

How old is the account? how much activity has it seen? How many payments have you sent in the past? What is the amount youre trying to send?

3 months old, mostly eBay payments received, not much, $95.

I actually can withdraw to Prepaid VISA Cards :) Not sure with US PayPal tho.

@OP citycowboy: let the account rest for a while, and try sending low amounts first.
Their security system is stopping you from sending. Are you sending to ONE paypal account constantly?

That's a pretty young account.
And if Im understanding you right this is the first time you've ever sent a payment.
It is likely their security. Just let it go and try again with a lower amount in a few days.

Yes of course you can withdraw to Prepaid Visa card if your account is in eligible country for Cards withdrawals.

it was the same for me .. try to send to another pp account some times the problem is not on your pp account its with the other accoutn were you are trying to send .

true,some accounts are restricted,no money coming in and no money going out.
why not ask the recipient if there is a reason why you have problem sending him payment.

Yes, you can, now the question is whether it's reloadable or not, in Serbia we have prepaid cards that you can withdraw to.

Can you send $1? If not, don't touch the account for 48 hours and try to send $1 again. If you can it is just a security glitch, If you can't then you have bigger issues.
