Paypal Limited, buyer did a return. No way to refund?
 

I've been on hold for 2 hours with dumbass Paypal reps trying to figure out how to refund a buyer when my account is perm limited. What a job. Still no solution.

The ebay return refund button just gives an error. I see no refund button on my limited PayPal next to any transaction.

If the buyer opened a return case just wait for ebay to automatically refund when your time is up

This was fixed after about 10 reps looked and 3 hours of time wasted. The account had a refund block on it, the rep said she never seen that before and removed it.

Its still limited and I can get my money in 180 days, she even confirmed the date. A very nice smart rep. American as well, obviously. The foreign reps are trash. I seriously wasted 3 hours on this.

The whole idea of locking up your money for 180 days is to make sure fund is available when buyer files dispute or chargeback.
did the buyer follow the proper procedure for return?
Your case cant be the first?

Yes, that was my point as well. The American rep finally admitted she had never seen this before and fixed the limitation. I can now see the refund button again, next to each transaction.

I have no idea why they would have done that in the first place or why refunds would EVER be blocked. She didn't understand it either, said she had never seen this type of limitation before, and removed it.

I get my money in 180 days. She made that clear as well. A very nice rep. Even gave me the date.

The ebay refund attempts just gave an error. This was a paypal issue.
