Does PayPal ask for Id when they ask to upgrade to business?

When you get the 200/20000 mark and you have to upgrade do you need to provide id? I know PayPal ask for lots of information as of late.

if you SS is not on file,they will ask for it.

They ask for either SSN or EIN.
They do not ask for an ID doc as far as I know.

Think they only ask for Id or other documents if your limited at ya Paypal is changing a lot lately.
