Are there any limits that usually trigger a hold?

Does it make any diference to receive 70$ on one transaction or 70$ in two transactions at 35 each?

Is there a daily/ weekly/ monthly/ accumulated amount that triggers a hold?

new to selling,been away from selling,selling outside your normal $range,selling high risk items.
too many disputes,chargebacks,
sometimes it could be risky buyers

It depends on a lot of factors.
How risky is your item, how drastic is the increase of your sales, etc. etc.

if your selling price is within a certain range say $50-$100 and now you are selling above that range,say $500. or $1000

There are no known set info for paypal. Its always changing and depends on so many factors. Same with when they request tax info, hold money, ask for ID docs, etc.
