I called to paypal from my cell phone, is that any problem

i have called to paypal from my cell phone, the number is nor vinculed to any account but could paypal see the name and to know that i have another account on my real name?

Never call PayPal from any other number but the one you listed with them.. Yes, they will know you call from different number and will most likely ask you if you want to add this number to your account too. But, if the cell number you called from is asociated with another person PP account already, might raise some flags...

Probably will raise one or two flags all depend what's the current standing of these accounts. next time, better use a phone forwarding service to call them.

You can always use a spoof service to make the registered number show up on caller ID or how about blocking the caller ID? Lots of people have it on their cell phones...my carrier offers it for 99 cents/month

block number with *67

GreenBean 08-09-2009 08:23 PM

^^^But that does not work on toll-free. Will only work with land-line numbers (402,401 etc)

Really?
You can buy a spoof card on ebay for $10 for 100 minutes. They email you the details immeadiately. Any number that you want will show on caller ID. You can call a friend from the IRS or Police Station number...great also for practical jokes...obviously

Use *67 to block your number calling paypal. When you get to the automated tone it will ask for your social. Just say opperator. It will ask again, just say operator again. Do NOT call and give them your phone number under ANY means.

Vicvelcro 08-10-2009 06:40 PM

Don't call the toll free number. *67 does not block when dialing toll-free. Ever. Anywhere.

Don't say operator. Say 'Agent'.

Verbally give them the phone number they already have on file. Never give them any alternate number. Ever.
