Mistakenly request check withdrawal
 

Stupidly instead of doing an electronic withdrawal using my iphone, requested a check...to my out of state ups store address. Called them up right after and they said they couldn't cancel the check request. What's the best course of action? It's a small amount of dough and I can live with the loss but what will happen if the check is returned to pp by the post office for non-delivery? Should I do a change of address with the post office?

If it was me, I would call the UPS Store and do some pleading...maybe just maybe something could be worked out?

Yes, a change of address is a good idea especially if the PayPal account is in your real name. Just do it online...I think it was $1.50 billed to your credit card to verify your identity.

Contact that UPS store and ask them how to arrange for them to forward it to you when it arrives. No change of address needed and Paypal is never the wiser. If you do put in a change of address via the post office, anybody who asks at any post office will be informed of your new information without hassle or hesitation. That is not a good thing, for stealthy people.

Forwarding service is one of the things provided by the UPS Stores. Might cost a small amount, but hey, who cares?
