PayPal add bank account "we couldn't confirm it's you"
 
Hello I am trying to add bank account to 180 days PayPal. But got the message of "sorry we couldn't confirm it's you"

Even I don't have a change to get the text to verify the PIN. This is 180 days account and VBA linked.

I did have 1 success of linking bank account for 180 days PayPal with VBA linked.

Not sure what makes the error message pops up. How I can avoid this message?

Do you still have access to your phone number that you first signed up? If you do you can call and add it through there. If you don’t, then prepare for the worse

Thanks for answering. However there is no option for me to send text. As soon as I add the bank information, it directed me to that page "sorry we couldn't confirm it's you"

Use your phone number to call and add it though the phone

it depends, just try calling them from the original phone number you listed and tell them that your account is giving an error and you need help.

Today I called in. They do nothing and just asked me to call back after 24 hours.

They even don't give me a chance to send text to cell.

You use the automated phone service don’t ask for a rep. If they still won’t let you add, then I’m afraid you’ll have to prepare for the worse

Thanks again. Let me figure it out more details.

A. Did you get the similar message "sorry we couldn't confirm it's you" when you adding bank account?

B. If you did get the above message, did you have any success by trying to add bank info for automated calls?

C. If you did get some success, is the account a 180 days account?

Try adding a debit card, and withdraw the funds to that card.

Are you trying to add a Payoneer account by any chance? If so... I don't exactly know how, but a got a friend who called paypal for me and they opened a "window" of time for me to input the account and it was accepted... just make sure you DON'T verify the 2 small deposits they will send because Payal withdraws those 2 funds in 1 exhibition after the verification but since Payoneer's virtual accounts only work to receive deposits, the withdrawal from paypal will fail and they will send you an email telling you that they made a bank account reversal on your account... I had to learn this the hard way...

I haven't opened any payoneer account. :) I read other thread saying that Payoneer will freeze account sometimes, or the transfer from PayPal to Payoneer will keep pending for 1 week or 2. So I am not sure to open Payoneer or not.

All those 3 answers are YES and you added the bank finally, would you still get the same error message when you withdraw?

Do the address between the card and PayPal must match? My account has a stealth address and but debit card has real address.
