PayPal do not let me put the tracking number
 

It is about a week that I try to put the tracking of my sales into paypal but when I click on edit shipping information it opens a blank windows that say " we have some technical problems" did it happen to you either? I want just receive my sales sooner:ranger:

Do it through eBay, it’ll post on PayPal automaticcally

If I add the tracking just on eBay ,once delivered PayPal will release the payments ?

I can't put on eBay this tracking because already existing and can't be added twice

if you entered tracking on ebay,it should be picked up by Paypal.
is this EBAY HOLD or Paypal hold?
if not released,call Ebay when tracking shows delivered,wait 3 days

Its not possible to put the tracking through on eBay because already existing,

And can't put through PayPal because gives error

if it is already on Ebay,why do you want to add another one?
is there more than one shipment?
if I recall,there should be room for a second tracking number,?
ebay hold vs paypal hold.
it depends on who is holding the payment,sometimes it is ebay,sometimes it is paypal

I sold 2 items and I dropshipped them on eBay, then my seller put the trackings on the orders
for this reason I can not insert the same tracking because is not allowed to be put twice.
The only option to release the payment will be putting on paypal

so you SOLD an item to an ebay buyer on Ebay and then place the order from ebay seller,he enters the tracking number with his order and you cant use it for your order.

if your buyer files item not received,then you can try entering that tracking number,hope it works,for your sake.

He want to put the tracking details so he can receive the funds sooner.
I believe that's what he wants. In this case, since he cannot manually add the tracking details, he needs to wait 7-21 days for the release of funds (considering his account is just new).

@Pedroalva: You're getting an error with PayPal since that tracking number/details is already existing on their system. You have no choice but to wait 7-21 days for the funds to be released.

he is not doing the shipping,his Ebay seller does
if it were a non EBay seller,yes,he can add the tracking number which is not his .

No ,I get error message before put the tracking,it looks like a technical error of paypal

well,if it were a technical error,then keep trying or open another browser.
If it were an Ebay transaction,and you add a tracking number on Paypal,wont that be like adding to the ebay transaction,as paypal does not store this tracking number,it will always go to Ebay to find the tracking number.
unless you use Paypal ship now to print the label,then you haveto manually add it.
I think you are stuck with 3-21 days business,what is the item,is it a high risk item?
if your buyer finds out you are not the one who shipped the item and he could buy it cheaper from another seller,he could ask to return the item at your expense,then you have to give him a return label,what would be the return address?

Not sure if true this above ..;
I think that if you put the tracking number just on PayPal it is an eBay transaction and don't print the label ,PayPal is store it and they should release paym once deliver/ before 21 days?

it depends on who is withholding the payment?
Paypal can act on its own and withhold the payment if it is considered high risk,or your account or your buyer account is ,or the size of the payment,or buyer method of payment.
what are the items?

My items are small gadget not high risk .
But normally if you put the tracking on PayPal whatever is holding the payment they should release the payments once is delivered( this for my experience and think is right )
If pp block for other circumstances like high risk items etc.. that is another story

if it is low price and low risk,then it should be released,is there a place for you t o mark shipped,I think you can do so on Ebay.
Not all sellers use tracking,postcard sellers do not,ribbons,thread,stamps do not unless they are high price

Regardless even if you were to ship a tissue paper, you NEED tracking.

Don't worry about the released funds, it'll get released soon. Just ship fast and upload the tracking direct to eBay. It'll auto upload to paypal
