Paypal sent money to my bank but....
 

Paypal sent money to my bank but my bank declined it because of mismatch name....when the money is sent back to my paypal, will paypal limit me and remove the bank? Thanks

Paypal will remove the bank account yes.

What bank was it?

Yes they usually will. It shouldnt limit your PayPal most the time - but its possible it will (really down to luck on that)

I also have another situation going on, I have a canada account and I withdrew money to my canada bank. They asked me to verify information to receive the funds I did not provide this information so now they are ALSO sending back my money to paypal....this is not due to mismatch names or anything its just they cancelled and on its way back...will this also remove my CA Bank attached?

@iamlmfao, care to identify what banks both us and canada are giving you this problem? Seems odd

Will I be able to add the same bank back? I only have one canada bank urghh this is so fustrating..most of all I just dont want to get limited... :(

This should not be a surprise,when you go to a bank and try to deposit a check which is not made out to you,if the teller is not napping on the job,she would refuse it.
sometimes,endorsing it would not work either

if Paypal keeps running into problem transferring fund to your account or withdrawing from it,it will remove that account,no sense keep on trying.

Maybe but I dont see the point if the bank is rejecting the transfer really?

Its actually a legit Canada bank. The funds were held in it for 2 days. And then I got an email saying we didn't receive the requested information the transaction has been cancelled and sent back to paypal.

no because I did not have enough time to get docs ready. I have all the documents they want it just takes more than 2 days to get them.

Its actually more than that. I know for paypal will remove it if they try and take money from the bank and cant, but this is totally different. This is the bank sending back the money. I just hope its not limited when funds come back :(

This is kind of alarming to hear from a Canada bank. I haven't had this issue when I have opened up accounts with ID and proof.

I know that Tangerine can cause issues. I am not sure what other Canada bank can cause issues with deposits under mismatching names...Simplii?

Hm. I wonder if it's possible to add the same card to another account once it was removed from another one?

In the past ,fund rejected by your bank is supposed to come back to your Paypal account,but not always,Paypal is supposed to look into it,but it could drag on for a long time.
