Default Buyer opened PP claim and escalated

A buyer has opened a claim and escalated it straight away and claims its not as described.. With no evidence at all.

I responded back with whats the issue? You haven't mentioned anything...

The problem is the return process.. My stealth address is used, so IF the buyer is to return it, it will automatically be to the stealth address? Is there no way to upload your own label?

If the item is only low value you can just apologise to the buyer that they’re not happy and refund them fully.

If the item is higher value you could show them good customer service and send them a prepaid return envelope or arrange for a courier to collect the item from them.

If this is a paypal dispute,buyer wins the dispute and pay return shipping.
If it is Ebay ,for item not as described,you sent them a return shipping label,dont wait for ebay to get involved,send him a label now

Its a PP dispute. But the issue is the address is stealth, so i cant even send a label, he literally opened a case for no damn reason, theres no evidence, no explanation of an issue just being an utter @@@

well,since it is a stealth account,what is your return address in your paypal account.
act now before Paypal decides,it will tell him to return to the return address you have in your paypal account

IF YOUR BUYER knows how return works,he will have to return to the return address Paypal gives him,which is the return address you have in your paypal account,else he wont get his money back.
if you send him a different label,it wont work

Yeah the address is completely wrong. I'll just let him return it to the random address and whoever gets it receives the free item. But I'll be dragging the dispute out till the last day, as he's causing me a loss as it's quite high value.

Just change your address in Paypal DUDE, this is NOT brain surgery. Example T D Electronics

Even if your address is banned by paypal, I have 5 paypal accts and all of them the return address is my banned address.

I dont think Paypal will disallow you to change your return address just because there is a dispute case open.

if you're selling high value items don't be so cheap and get a postal box WTF?
You got to expect returns without notice - I always keep enough money in PP to cover any potential unforeseen returns - i've lost 2 PP accounts because of not having enough in the accounts to cover and the accounts got linked.

If itís high value donít let the buyer just send it back to you. Contact them and arrange for a courier to collect it from them directly. I use either UPS or DPD. All you buyer has to do is print out the return label you send them

There's no need for a postal box. The worse case scenario is he sends it back to the address on file and i full refund him, which i would be fine to do.. It's part of running these accounts.

To update: PP closed it in my favour due to him not uploading any evidence of anything.

It is a high value item the buyer wants to return but your stealth address doesn't match

Here is solution.

Respond to paypal. Ok sure no problem. We approve return. We have a prepaid PDF label, customer can put on package and send to us free of charge and we will refund money..

How do I give this pdf label to customer? Can I just email to buyers email? Is that OK for you?

Paypal will make button where you can upload pdf file. Just tell them you want to provide great customer service and how can I give customer a return label. Then put whatever address you want (AND REFUND AS SOON AS YOU GET IT BACK!!!!)

If you are dealing with high value items long term I would look into having an accessible return address. If a buyer opens a return case on eBay it can be approved by eBay and the buyer sent your address on file without you doing anything

Yeah i already have a work around for ebay. It's PP cases that i have an issue with.

once Paypal gets involved,it will ask the buyer to return to your Paypal address,else he wont get his money back

Paypal cases are not so easy to win unlike ebay. With paypal they ask you for official documents to prove an item is faulty if it's high value, which is very good. They even force you to report it to action fraud. I like that. You are also responsible of paying to return the item.

On ebay all you have to say is the item is not described and you "think" it is faulty, not even mention anything else and they will decide in the buyers favour.

Paypal bot will handle most disputes,if you appeal,then a staff member will look into it.
Why cant he go into his paypal account and change the return address now and in the future,if he does not want to use his home address,then open a PO Box for return.
Once Paypal is involved it will ask him to return to the address on file or buyer wont get his money back,so try changing the return address now.
Paypal will pay for return shipping up to $15,overseas $35 if you apply before you buy the item,you can do this x number of times per year
