2 year old paypal , being asked to verify info?
 

It's a 2-year-old PayPal that's been upgraded to a business account. They have my EIN, my business info, invoices and even a copy of a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ drivers license but suddenly they are asking me to verify my social security number to use my PayPal balance. Has anyone else had this happen?

yes they changes polices .prowide them ssn.its normal

If ya dont provide ssn ya just cant spend your PayPal balance but you can just transfer to your bank.

Yep.. looks like claim it has now been migrated to business accounts in the form of this. I said something about it in the chatbox.

Noticed it on all of my business accounts this morning but luckily I already withdraw all $ from those accounts. Guess I'll be attaching bank accounts to those eBays in the near future.

I don't understand the clueless irrelevant comments.

This is not something they were asking all business accounts to do prior to last night. On USA business accounts this just became a thing today.

Personal stealth accounts have been effected by this update since the beginning of 2019. Legit EIN business accounts did not have to deal with this until now.

Thanks for the update. I'm well over the 20k for tax reporting in that tore so I'm guessing that won't be an issue since they have my EIN and LLC information, plus a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ drivers license and invoices and all that crap. Interestingly they let me pay my eBay fees with the account last night. Signing up with Ayden was so much easier than this jumping through hoops. I'll be glad when I can use it on all of my accounts.

This must be a single member LLC?

We have not had this request but have had a request for proof of ownership on one Corporation.
