Weird email from PayPal after confirming VCC

Hello,

So I have this EU PayPal account where I went over the 2500 EUR yearly limit.
They asked me for proof of identity & address, which I uploaded. I also got a VCC from the marketplace (from a reputable seller) which I used to confirm my account.

After confirming the account, I got the following email:
Quote:

Subject: You have successfully lifted your PayPal withdrawal limit
Confirming a card lifts your PayPal withdrawal limit, but because your account is restricted you cannot make withdrawals at this time. You can continue to send money.
I don't really understand the "your account is restricted" part.

Also, when I log into PayPal, I still get the red notification, saying that I should confirm the card. I can't do that again...

That means your still waiting on the ID to be accepted

Oh ok, I guess that makes sense. I wish the message included this, so it would be obvious. Thanks James

How long are these "confirmations" by PayPal?
I've read some horror stories, where they mentioned that they had to wait months... is that really how it goes?

Takes a couple days to confirm, doesn't always go through and your account could be limited permanently.

Hopefully this isn't the case, and its a success

Well yes, I really hope this will not be the case.
But these emails, and the notifications that I have in my dashboard are REALLY confusing.
I really think PayPal should do something about these things, because this is really unprofessional.
Asking me to verify an already verified card + emailing me that my limits have been removed, but then still not being able to do anything... no wonder big companies want to get away from PayPal
