from your experience what amount of money subject to 21 days hold ? is small amounts like 30$ as first received payment subject to 21 days hold ? NO Ebay payments involve here

Quite a lot of factors in play - off-ebay payments, I have had holds placed on sub-5$ payments when the source of payment was questionable.

If the payment is from pp balance or bank, there is better chance of no hold for off-ebay payments but again, few factors come into play likely involving security and risk

It could also be the kind of merchandise /service you are selling,Paypal has a list of high risk categories,comics is one of them,of course iphone,precious metals would be on it too.
unless you have a FUNDNOW account with Paypal,payment is never withheld and you get routed to a specialist to answer your call because you are such a wonderful guy.
