Safe to pay invoice with two different paypal accounts?

Hi there. If someone sends me a Paypal invoice that supports partial payments, is it safe to pay a portion of it with one stealth Paypal account, and another portion with another stealth Paypal account. Is this safe?

Technically speaking I don't think it would immediately cause any accounts linkages.

From a stealth account safety point of view it doesn't seem like the safest thing to do.. especially if you intend to to it repeatedly.

If you want to avoid linking, then you should avoid this.

Like Phaz0rz’s and green bean mentioned this could cause a link if done enough

how does it work with buyer and seller protection?
The seller would not get any seller protection as he would not be shipping to your second paypal account and you could decide to file itemnot received ?

not really, the second stealth account sending payment would have no reference as to why he is sending payment.
it would be under goods and services, and he could always file item not received and make up some excuse, the seller would be screwed as he did not ship anything

He said someone sent him a Paypal invoice (one invoice) and wont mind if I make multiple partial payments .
so I make one partial payment, then I let him know I am using a different account to pay the rest ,in that payment there is no reference as to what it is for.
Seller knows and go ahead and ship the item.
seller knows,I know both payments are for the same item, but Paypal does not know.
The invoice would still be open, seller will print shipping label ,and ship the item.
as long as seller and buyer are happy,Paypal would not know if his 2 stealth accounts are related.
even if Paypal suspects ,he can always say I ask my friend to lend me the money.?

if his vendor sent him one invoice which allows multiple partial payments,it would be sent to his stealth account A,i DONT see how stealth account B can pay that invoice,it is sent to Stealth account A's paypal email address, how would B access that invoice?

Re: Safe to pay invoice with two different paypal accounts?

I've never done it but I'm assuming an invoice that supports partial payments sends a copy of the same invoice to multiple accounts to pay, so they can "split the bill". Paypal includes features like that because they want to be more mainstream (used at restaurants and whatnot by regular people to pay).

If a supplier sends a $2000 inventory invoice and account A pays $1k then account B pays $1k Paypal would likely assume there's some kind of association between the two accounts.

I dont think this is the case, but your scenario is interesting,if I am dining with a party of 8-10 ,I sure dont want to pickup the tab,but I have seen many cases where old friends dine regularly and one gladly pay the whole tab and collect the rest in cash,he gets the cc points and have cash to play with.
I did that several times when I use my Paypal debit card as credit card,I get 1 1/2% cash rebate from Paypal, which means I am paying
less for my meal.
if the bill is 120 for 10,and I get $1.80 cash rebate, then my meal is only 10.20 while others pay $12
