US, what banks can I withdraw PayPal to without name mismatch problem?
 

I have about $2k in a stealth PayPal account. I can't spend it because of the new "claim money" problem. They have never asked for docs or SSN, and I want to avoid them asking for them.

What banks could I open an account at and withdraw to, that wouldn't cause a problem with a name mismatch?

And, if there's a name mismatch, is it PayPal or the bank that could have a problem over it? Am I right that PayPal would never know the name on the bank account, that it's only the bank that would see it?

Just about any of the big banks are known to work OK with mismatched names. Here is the list in order of preference:

Wells Fargo
Citibank
US Bank
Bank of America
Chase

Smaller banks can also work, but your mileage may vary.

Using Business accounts are my preference since they seem to get less scrutiny for 3rd party deposits than a Personal account would.

If the bank does have a problem with it, am I right that they might reject the deposit and it goes back to PayPal? Or, is it just that the bank might close the account?

you have to ask your bank,if you keep depositing $$ which is not in your name,or the deposit bounced ,they could cancel your account.
if the fund comes back to Paypal,there are cases which you never see it in your Paypal account,it sits somewhere in one of Paypal accounts to be sorted out.

and i m sure you can also link payoneer bank ,fedral saving bank .i had withdraw 280$ couple of days before in paayoneer

Looks like CapitalOne and Chime cause big problems with PayPal, at least in posts dating back 2+ years here.

Anyone recently try Ally, Simple, or Discover? Or somewhere else you can completely open online? Real info, real address, sending debit card to me is fine. Just don't want to have to go into a branch all the time to open accounts.

These are both surprising. Maybe something has changed, but in past posts, there are so many people saying CapitalOne and Payoneer caused them problems. Most posts asking about banks are 2017 and before though.

Regions Bank, when I asked them about it, the mgr said "why wouldn't we?" lots of people have partners, etc.

This is something I dont understand,how would you like if I link your bank account to my PAYPAL account and use it to buy something,say I know your bank password so if Paypal made 2 micro deposits,I haveno problem verifiy them.
by the time you find out and complain,I got my Rolex or gold buillion?
Some children are using their parents bank account with their Paypal account.
