Paypal confirm info 2019
 

I received email to please confirm info with about month notice unless I will not be able to spend my account balance. This is a business account I already gave them an EIN number. Now they are asking for TIN/ SSN. So Today 4 days before the deadline I decided to take another look at the account I remember that when giving them an EIN I have to give them last 4 digits of SSN, this is a stealth so was made up. I realized all they were asking for again was the last 4 digits so I just gave it to them thinking it would be a simple fix but now I have a red flag and they are asking me to upload documents.

Do not confirm your info if you have this notification, it may happen sooner or later but I think if I didn't confirm info my account would of lasted longer.


Anyways if anyone could help it would be appreciated. My Paypal account has never been suspended but my ebay account was indefinitely suspended does this mean if I gave them my SSN I would be fine since ebay and paypal are no longer together or should I just let the account RIP?

hey buddy I think you should give it a try if its an account that is doing really good and is worth it phaz added his ssn and had his ebay banned but not PayPal and so far his ssn has worked for him i say do it.

I was also wondering about this.

Seems there might be a risk to the account by attempting to confirm the last 4 of TID/EIN on a stealth account. Obviously the info provided can't be cross referenced to a real identity. Maybe it's just better to leave it alone?

if you are going to create a new Ebay account,you cannot use this Paypal account since it was linked to your suspended ebay account.

Thanks for your reply, I'm still not sure if it would be worth a try. The account is very valuable to me. My main source of income to be exact. This account is account is about 2 1/2 years old same with eBay. I have no problems with the eBay account.

The thing is if I link this account to my main account that has an SSN that means when I send info if the account goes down, most likely both of them will go down. This account is in variation of my real name with different DOB,address. They are asking for my Photo ID and SSN document which will show them that it is different.

More reply's are welcome, I'm really trying to think about this before I make another move.

This post is also to just warn people that do think about confirming info that you may be hit with a red flag.

Yes I would not confirm info let me be the guinea pig this time. I would leave it alone. I did research on here before doing it was going to leave it alone because every time I tried putting in my full EIN it wouldn't accept it then when I found out they only need last 4 of SSN digits I remembered that I already gave them that and would try it.

Yes I do know this but this paypal account was not linked to my suspended ebay account, if anything I would need to just use a new paypal account which would probably not work. I do have back up accounts so it may be time to dust them off.


Edit: I meant my ebay in the past was suspended.

Call in and request them to remove SSN limitation due to tax implications. I did this with a friends account and after 45 minutes the filipino rep was able to bypass the robot. Let me know how it goes.

i tried to enter a 4 digits and bam upload docs. i never looked back lol. that was last month like a 10 year old account

RIP time to move on I guess. I'm not going to upload docs it will just link to my main account. I'll start working on a new ebay/paypal most likely and take the time to improve my website.

How long do you guys know before the account goes down? Also what type of limitation will happen?

Account hasn't been restricted by the way. I can still transfer to bank and receive payments. I think I have 3 months until it goes down gives me time to prepare hopefully.

To give an update 3 months later my account is still running with the red flag. I'm aware I'm not out of the clear and ready if it goes down. Nothing has changed still receiving payments and withdrawing to bank.

I'm on the same boat. 6 months deep and still going strong on one of my accounts. Knock on wood.

6 months in now still going strong. Off topic but Everyone out there grinding make sure you take care of your mental and physical health that's just as important. Stay focused and learn to balance your lifestyle. Also start growing your own platform now don't rely on someone else's platform.

The notification went away on Paypal beginning around new years.
