Buyer filed a chargeback??
 

One of my buyers filed a chargeback with their bank for quite a large amount. Whenever this has happened in the past I have NEVER won! Does anyone know what I can do or do I just have to take the loss? Tracking always shows as delivered so I don't understand why the bank would cover the buyers!! (unless they claim the charge was unauthorized?)

You have to tell us more,physical or digital item,service rendered,how much?
$750 or more requries signature confirmation.
Unauthorised transaction ,there is seller protection if you can prove you have shipped,not necessarily delivered.(pypal seller protection)
not all items qualify for seller protection so what is the item and where to

It should be unauthorized charges, like their kids ordered without their permission or something..

It happens to all of us, it sucks but its par of doing business. If your chargeback level is low its all good (apart from loosing money).

Op still has not said if this is for physical or digital item, If it is for digital item then there is no seller protection under pp. I have recently lost £70, although I had provided them screenshot of email that code was delivered.

I think if item was shipped and having good tracking ID, you are under pp seller protection.
How suppose to be this unauthorize when product getting delive on their address.

OP did not say how he shipped,if no online viewable tracking from commercial carrier showing it had been delivered,then bot will rule in favor of the buyer.
he can appeal if he can show it has been delivered,by a commercial carrier .

If you took all of the necessary precautions before sending the shipment, and you cover all your bases in your response to the chargeback, you should win aside from the $20 chargeback resolution fee.

What I usually do is upload the following screenshots : PP transaction details showing the buyers confirmed address, eBay sales record showing the same address, the postage record from postage software showing buyer's confirmed address + tracking number, and any messages between the buyer and I.

I haven't been hit with a chargeback in over a year but as long as you can provide all of the information required by whatever financial institution the chargeback is coming from you shouldn't have any problems winning it.

BTW, if the buyer filed a chargeback through their bank or CC, Paypal will shut down their account.

where did you hear that?
if they do this too many times,they could risk losing their paypal account
