I can't say for sure but since Amex Bluebird and Serve cards are available at walmart, there's a 98% chance those bank accounts have been blacklisted. Paypal never allows bank accounts that are associated with prepaid cards you can get from Walmart (or equivalent UK stores).

If they aren't blacklisted I seriously doubt Amex would be alright with mismatched deposits.

go to AMEX site and ask online,their reps know Paypal,Ebay well

I just went there,to link a new external bank account,it needs routing number and your account number,Paypal is not a bank,and your Paypal account is not a bank account number.
Paypal has many bank accounts,your money is in one of them,all the bank accounts are in Paypal name,only Paypal knows how much you have (subaccount assigned by paypal)

the only indirect way (if it works) is to get a Paypal debit card ,the one which you have to pay a monthly fee,your fund would be kept in an account with Bankcorp Bank along with the other Paypal debit card holders account,but the last I heard,it will give you a routing number and account number for ACH and deposit.
whether it would be accept by AMEX,you will have to find out/
but the fee is like 4.95 a month and you can move money to and from paypal account and that debit card.
SSN and address is needed to get a permanent card

if there is no way to link his AMEX saving account to his Paypal account,if he wants to withdraw his fund in his Paypal account ,the debit card would be one way,he can move the fund to his debit card and then go to any ATM to withdraw the fund.
But if he has a stealth account,I dontknow how he can get a permanent debit card with SSN and his home address,and there is also a fee per month.
of course he can also use a bank account,but not AMEX savings account

not so,just like the Paypal MC debit card I talked about which cost 4.95 a month,Paypal will also accept the WMT equivalent,you can link it to your paypal account,it cost 3.95 a month and it is very slow and unpredictable,thats what I heard from the users.

OP did not say whether he just want to withdraw fund from Paypal to Amex or transfer fund from AMEX to Paypal or both?
but that PAYPAL MC debit card which is 4.95 a month will do both.
if he has fund in Paypal and cant transfer to AMEX,then he can transfer to this debit card.
if he wants to add fund to PAYPAL and cant do so with AMEX,this debit card accepts deposit and from the card,he can transfer to Paypal account.
but then I dont know if he can get a Paypal debit card if he has a stealth account and does not want to use his SSN

I tried Amex Bluebird a couple years back. It DOES NOT work for stealth. Bluebird rejected the ACH and bounced it back to PP.

Use a REAL bank, not some prepaid card or virtual account.

He is talking about using AMEX savings account, I am looking at mine now,it does have a routing number and account number .
he can transfer fund from Paypal to his AMEX account,but I DOUBT HE can transfer from AMEX to his Paypal account,

well,I just suceeded in adding my American express bank -high yielding savings account to Paypal,it will send 2 deposits in a few days .
so it looks like you can move moneyback and forth between Paypal and AMEX account.
The routing number I used is 124085066

does gift cards.com work for PayPal since you can register the card to pass avs anybody try them before?

i tested and i link with paypal instant also i withdraw fund in amex .you can try own risk

OP is asking if he can link his Paypal account with his AMEX savings account,if you have question of AMEX card or any card,start a new thread.

I would imagine that it might be flagged. As I remember most VBA info had something very similar. I would just contact a US bank and see if they allow you too open up an account from the UK if not try pioneer (get the correct spelling, sorry), they give you EU, and a US Bank account from a real US Bank. That would be your best bet.

Wrong! They give you a bank with "Bank of America" my designers have them and I have wired funds too them for jobs they do for me. I even asked this morning to triple check.

And they also give you a EU Bank out of Germany. A known bank! Real bank, none of those blacklisted things you say.
