Adding Debit Card to Paypal to Withdraw?
 

Hey Friends,
I am trying to add a new bank account to my Paypal as my old bank account had fraud and I needed to close it.
I am adding a Chase account which has never been a problem and I keep getting an error to try again later. I contacted a Paypal rep via chat and was told there is a security issue that is not allowing me to add it. Again its Chase, but was told certain routing numbers have that problem? Ok.
She asked me if I had a debit card I could add which I do but the account is Stealth and bank account is my real nam.. Im assuming this is not a safe move for Stealth accounts but I need to withdraw and am willing to trying anything.
Has anyone had luck with this without getting shut down?

WELL,IF LINKING BANK ACCOUNT DOES NOT WORK,WHAT OTHER OPTION DO YOU HAVE?

when did you remove the old account from your paypal?

There is another thread on Chase,it looks like Chase is comparing names on your stealth and bank account,it is a mismatch so no GO.

Certain routing numbers having a problem is unlikely though hmm... I wouldnt believe everything a pp agent says either

Its actually still on there, I havent touched that. Its just closed and I havent withdrawn to it in 3 months

Exactly, we all know its a load of crap but the explanation I get when it wont go through. I guess Ill give a debit card that good old college try!
