How to sell on ebay without paypal
 

Hi everyone and i am looking forward to everyones replys and suggestions.
I have a very successful business on ebay and last week out of the blue, Paypal took away all facilities permanently. Reason being i guess was CBD products, ( LEGAL!). These products were on a website ( paypal was gateway ) and not on Ebay.Ebay site is up and running perfect 97% positive feedback,
business account , £100,000 limit per month, however whats best way to take payments other than Paypal? All ads are up on Ebay i just need a good payment option . The products are second to none.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You cannot really. PayPal is mandatory on eBay U.K.

Ebay is sweet , at the moment im just cash and also call for payments over phone. People are sweet as thet have trust in products and the seller.

this is a top account built up over 3 years of hard graft and also nothing illegal other than Paypal got pissed ff with CBD all of a sudden.

The bud you're selling on your site is most likely what caused you to lose your PP. Some of those strains are definitely not "CBD only" and I doubt PP would care even if they were. Bud is bud and they don't like it. :/

Best advice I can give is to start with a new Paypal/eBay combo and in the future be very careful about what you use PP to accept payments for.

NO,HIS EBAY IS linked to his banned Paypal,if he uses the same Ebay with a stealth Payal,it would get banned as well.

if you are doing so well on your own website,why not just apply for a merchant account to accept credit cards.

Cannabis related products; glassware, bongs, pipes, CBD products, etc are notoriously difficult to sell. Phaz is correct, PayPal just doesn't like that stuff.

There are some high risk merchant processors who might take you, but those are incompatible with eBay.

YES,once I browsed websites which sell HASH and all of them take cash or check,never credit card.
There is an Ebay seller who sells incense paper,incense sticks,burners etc on Ebay and bragged he bought acres of land and build a house on his Ebay income .
In all his listings,and he has many,he will always say if you dont see something you want,please do not hesitate to email me!
One morning as he drinks his coffee and list more,he watched his listings disappear one by one.
He is finally reinstated,never come out and say why his listings were removed and how he managed to get them back

I read that banks which are fed regulated cannot do business with Hash sellers in states which approve such sales,and these sellers have to park their cash in safe deposit box,storage and how do they order more supplies without going to a bank ?
can they go to USPS and buy postal order,max is $1k each,walk up to the counter and speak to a clerk,may I have 25,35,50 postal orders please??

That's why on a lot of these weed shows on TV you'll see a huge safe with over a million dollars in it in the back of the dispensary.

vaults are not 100% safe,we have a store owner in the city which keeps one at home and the robber tied up his children and wife and demanded he open it !
How do these dispensaries guard their safes or themselves from robbers?
maybe turn them into gold bars and keep them in bank safe deposit boxes?
when one needs cash,sell the gold and turn them back into cash

Banks are drooling over the first opportunity to accept deposits from these companies. FDIC has their hands tied and they would rather have insurance.

The vault's are solid. Probably more secure than most banks. Not as much a safe but a giant room filled with stores of marijuana waiting to be pushed out. The floors in some are pressure sensitive and under constant surveylance.

as far as Uncle is concerned it is illegal drug,so all banks and institutions chartered under Fed Law cannot deal with illegal stuff,
state chartered banks can .

Oh ya technically state banks could and some do but they're not going to want to right now. Banks are pushing for something and it's impossible to change fed law, just make acceptions to the rule. They've got all their lawyers and lawmakers working on a proposal that would protect them from federal prosecution.

I remember savings and loan have their own insurance?
and what about credit unions?
FDIC aside,they are not supposed to do business with companies which deal in illegal activities?

There is always money laundering-they use to have pizza joint which sell lousy pizza but make hefty $$deposits every day.

That's the main thing. As long as Cannabis remains illegal under federal law, it creates a situation where national banks and money transmitters to distance themselves from anything that involves it. They don't want to jeopardize their operational licenses or charters in that regard.

Behind the scenes banks would love to have the funds from the marijuana industry - biggest companies are 2-6 billion.

They take that and loan it to contractors who build/buy buildings and soak in the rent.

I remember our contractor knew I didnt like being employed. I was on a site and didnt do some pre-preventative cleaning measures and he knew it so he replaced the whole asphalt driveway without blinking an eye. Never been so $hit scared lmao.

I dont see prices hurting any time soon because you cant mail MJ. People get it locally. Maybe they'll be like McDonalds chains.

Naw but prices dropped to record lows recently domestically and only just now went up by a little, and that'll change soon. It's way cheaper domestically now because the stuff from other countries will be taxed by drug cartels, smugglers, etc. And the quality would suck. Until it's legal federally and you can import it yourself there's zero threat to the domestic market. We are the world capital for that product now. :humble:

yes,Paypal will link your new Paypal account to your shop and your Ebay account.
I dont know how you last that long,most MJ sites I browsed do not have Paypal button

One site, the return address is a PO Box. You google the PO box, it's a po box store. Wonder who owns the store. Site advertises as being located out of the country. They aren't. Their whois info is protected too.

Funny to see another vape store here. We went ahead and moved all of our website traffic to a card merchant. I believe I we went with BankCardUSA. They work well with Vape shops, however I am not sure about CBD. As for PayPal, you may need to start stealth accounts, and start rebuilding your eBay accounts. We use over 12 eBay accounts right now, with one getting banned each month.

Remember, CBD, ELiquid, Mods, ect are against the TOS of eBay and are not allowed. You will constantly be fighting eBay on this, and its a losing battle. We include a slip in each package with our website, and a 5% coupon code. This brings traffic to our site, and helps convert people. Once you get them on your mailing list, they tend to purchase again.

In the end, you can do nothing with your current eBay account. You can possibly wait until Adyen comes out, however I do not know their policy on vapes. Probably the same thing. Get a card merchant, and start stealth. Move customers to your website. You can offer better prices on your site because no eBay fees, and possibly start a referral program. Best way to do it.
