I just transferred money to my debit card with different name.
 

Hey I'm not sure if this was just super lucky but I had created a stealth paypal on my own a while ago with a random name and address and I only had $300 that I forgot became available a couple weeks ago until I just logged into the stealth email just now.

Anyway I tried linking a bank account and it said it was linked to the maximum number of accounts (before I get blasted for this let me just put out there that I know the risk of this but I don't care because I no longer use either PayPal) so because it was only $300 and I was too lazy to try anything else I added my debit card under my real name to the account and did an instant withdraw and it worked perfectly fine. Obviously if this got a 72 hour review it probably wouldn't have worked but I'm not sure if this is something new in PayPal's system. Figured I'd throw it out there in case anyone has a few hundred dollars in a PayPal and wants an easy way to get it out without using a new bank account.

so linking a debit card is not the same as linking a bank account.

yes... but with stealth you should know that historically it has not worked to have conflicting names between the name on your card and the name in your paypal :doh:

I've never been asked for a name on a debit card for withdrawing money.

I used to have my own merchant account ,
I know when they authorise the card,they do not check the name of the cardholder .

Yeah, you won't get asked but they won't allow the transfer to go through. It's happened to me in the past with an old card.

I have 3 steal accts listed to my name on debit cards and none of the paypals are in my name, no problem, of course I only have one paypal per cc.

cards will just show as a none match threw AVS (Adress Verification System) they only run numbers not names you will be fine when they run a card it either shows up as a match or no match.

I thought the whole issue was the billing address not the name. But that's awesome!
