eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - New PayPal account receiving big money

Hi all.

I have a quick question I want to know I have new PayPal account and someone what’s to send me 2 thousand pounds if they send the full amount of 2 thousand will my PayPal get limited ?

You'll get lucky limited/suspended right away. And a slim chance of getting the funds back after waiting 180days.
Is there any payment methods/gateways you can use?
That amount is really risky to receive in a new pp account.

What if they send that money to my real PayPal account ? Will I still get limited just making sure so I don’t have to face issues.

Depends on the age and history of that account.
Much better if you'll not receive that amount all at once.

What about a old PayPal account? I had the old one for about 10 years or maybe more

Is it for a payment of goods, or are they just sending you money? Do bank-to-bank if it's the latter.

If it’s a new UK PayPal account you will be subject to the EU anti money laundering regulations which mean you need to provide valid ID and proof of address once you receive more than £1650 in a 12 month period

Unless that old account has some recent transactions on it, it will be treated as a new account if it's been dormant for a long period of time.

I would really look at a bank transfer instead of PayPal for that sort of volume transaction.

either they want to save money (intl wiretransfer) or the sender does not have a bank account or do not have cash,need to use credit card.
if you want it bad enough,offer to pick up the fee-western union,cashier check or wiretransfer

You have been warned: DO NOT USE PAYPAL for this transaction.

If you need more convincing, this forum is full of many threads from blokes in the UK that have lost their money forever, even after 180 days.

Don't use paypal for this. Paypal is a last resort.

Why not have him send you through bank transfer? Easy as heck.

atleast 3 months old running paypal can work smoothly ,its also depend on transitions too

HEY, NO! $2000 using paypal? BAD IDEA.

OP, just use bank transfer like zelle or wiretransfer. MUCH safer.
