How do streamers not get banned from PayPal ?
 

There are people that stream on YouTube and twitch who get donated large amounts of money each day for example lets say around £5k a day in donations for the bigger streamers . How do they not get banned from PayPal and not have any issues with it ? Yet when I sell £200 in a day = instant ban .

They're considered tips. Dont stream, you'll never surface from the masses.

And not only that, they probably have given everything from their ancestor's birth certificates and SSN, to their children's ID.

So Paypal knows them very well.

Many of the accounts that are transacting are part of the overall ecosystem and are likely very legitimate in PayPal's eyes.

PayPal's security algorithm also considers various attributes of the sender of the funds; not just the receiver.

I know one Youtuber who is taking in excess of $3,500 to $4k in "donations/tips" per month. This is for one of his travel channels. These funds go right into his PayPal that was setup in 2015 or so. He's totally legit, using real details, so it's hardly a problem. They have yet to ask for any docs or anything from him, either.

They probably visit the streamers channel and see he/she is a legitimate person on social media.

Many stealthers are reluctant to even access paypal on their mobile app let alone reveal their social media accounts to them.

Ya legit PayPal’s rarely run into problems most limits are for verification if your fully verified not much for them to not trust about you.

I used to watch live on Youtube these astrologers or fortune tellers will be speaking and then he/she will say Oh Thank you so and so for your generous payment,I think their fans are sending them $$ via Paypal?

Twitch has got their own platform that pays you for streaming certain new titles for X amount of time. Idk if you need a certain # of viewers. I would imagine Twitch and YouTube deposit directly to a bank but maybe someone can confirm..

May be Youtube does that,but Youtube members could use Paypal to make and receive payments.
One Vietnamese guy was paid by a Youtube member to produce a documentary film of Vietnam,he was paid a few thousand dollars via Paypal,and PAYPAL withheld the payment.
This may be off topic,but Paypal encourages businesses to use them for payroll ,but the recipient ends up paying hefty fee ,2.9-4.4% and 30 cents transaction.
some are contractors ,what if the employer files item not received and want his money back?
