Using a account number from a closed paypal account
 

I had this paypal account which was linked to a suspended account. I have had this paypal account closed now. I'm thinking of re-using the account number for another new paypal account but with another name, do you guys think this will work? Would this link me back to my suspended account?

If you use the same account number that you used on an account that is now suspended even if it was years ago, it will not work.

I just ran into this today. I opened a paypal account with a simon card, then I went to verify with an account number that was associated with a suspended account from about 5 years ago, (the account has been shut down all that time) and as soon as I did it said "this bank account number has been used on a previous account and cannot be used.)

In addition they will now limit the account I'm sure.
I did it by accident though. The account numbers were reissued from a lost debit card and supposed to be different from the one I used.

I actually don't even think paypal will allow you to use the same bank account for 2 paypal accounts.

They will not. You`ll get a message saying this bank account is already being used, not to mention you`ll link both accounts.
