| Karbonis | 07-07-2019 05:39 PM | No email, account still limited after 180 days? So two of my accounts had been limited at around the same time, but I only received one email about withdrawing. I've successfully withdrawn already from one account however the other is still locked. Have you guys encountered something like this? What can I do? I already sent PayPal a mail.
Thanks:help: |

What can I do? |

| nickopedia | 07-08-2019 01:06 PM | Re: No email, account still limited after 180 days? OP: Your flag says you are in Hungary. What country PayPal are you using?
There have been situations where PayPal refuses to allow you to withdrawal after the 180 days is up if you don't verify your identity. I am seeing this more and more now, and it's fairly common on UK accounts. |

Re: No email, account still limited after 180 days? Things have changed with the PayPal 180 days hold. It used to be pretty much automatic that you could withdraw after 180 days had past.
Now in some cases after the 180 days PayPal might want you to verify your ID before allowing you to withdraw |

This forum is full of past threads from UK account holders who have been unable to get their funds back past 180 days. Most people who have tried to submit "creative" docs have been unsuccessful because PayPal checks the ID with 3rd party database before allowing withdrawal.
They are also starting to do this on some USA accounts as well. |

| nickopedia | 07-08-2019 05:05 PM | Re: No email, account still limited after 180 days? If the account was in your own name, the ability to verify it would be obvious.
Unfortunately they will likely want to verify the identity of the account holder before releasing funds. Some UK based users have tried to escalate with the ombudsman, Trading Standards, or other agencies to pressure them. This rarely works when the account is not in your name, however.
You can obviously try giving them the docs/ID they are asking for, but your chances are not very good they will accept it. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:05 AM. | |
