Paypal Quick Security check - what should I do?
 

Hello everyone, this is my first topic here so I hope I can get useful information here from you guys.

I'm from Vietnam and I used the same Paypal with my girlfriend who's living in the U.S via Vultr VPS (RDP connection).

I started to login Paypal on the VPS from 24 June 2019. Add a Google Voice phone number on 27 Jun and made it Primary. My GF's Paypal was verified and linked her bank. I logged in Paypal everyday on the VPS to gain trust from Paypal. But there's still some issues.

1. Some payments couldn't be complete.
For example, I can make a payment 300$ from Dellrefurbished.com but I cant make a payment of 200$ from Adidas.com

2. Quick security check has no option to choose which phone to receive text message

I don't want to ask my GF too much because she got work to do. That's why I added Google Voice number to the account and set it as primary. Normally when making purchasement Paypal will text me via GVoice number. But today I want to send 100$ to my friend, Paypal asked me to confirm code with old phone number and there's no another option. And I couldnt do it because my GF was sleeping.

- Did I lose trust with Paypal by cancelling the confirmation?
- When will I be able to choose which number I want to receive the code?

By the way, do anyone know what's the automatic phone number Paypal uses to verify newly added phone number? After adding the Google Voice phone number to Paypal about 1 day I receive a missed call from a strange phone number but I cant call back. I'm afraid that I lost some trust from Paypal since then.

Usually if they call it's from a "402" area code. They also sometimes call from 402-935-7733.

The missed call was from 618. I tried to recall them but no response. Should I call them via their support center? And by the way do they suspect me because my voice is a boy instead of a girl?

618 is an area code for southern Illinois. Not sure if PayPal is using numbers generated from a different state than their location.

I'm planning to call to their support center. But I'm a boy (using my GF's account), will it lead to a suspension to the account because of mismatch gender? :lol:

Welp, that's sad to know, how about changing my voice by software? Did anyone try that?

paypal updated everyday.... GV used to be good. but now, it's got problem, that is "Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you" . One of my stealth account has no problem, because quick security check will send code to email 0_0. I don't know why and how they choosed email not phone number . Does anybody know how to set up quick security check verified by email ?

I didnt remember exactly but I think it's
