Been scammed on paypal
 

Was scammed by a woman on Facebook for tickets
Sent the Money through friends and family (stupidly)
PayPal tried to take the direct debit from my account today and then I got a returned DIrect debit on my account.
I’d 100% rather not have this woman getting my money, is there anything I can do to keep my money???

About the scam or about the returned DD?
Phoned them about the scammer and they said there’s nothing they can do

I haven’t got in contact with Facebook, the person has now blocked me and I don’t have their url. Should I do that? I’ve been told to contact my bank as they can apparently reach out to the other persons bank
I’ve taken all my money out my account, surely I can plead my case to PayPal when they come looking for the money?

Nothing PayPal will do for you. You trued to scam PayPal out of their fees by using friends and family and now you got scammed.

Only FB can help you,may be.
You will have a negative balance in your Paypal account and it will ask you to transfer some money in to bring it neutral

Go to your police or Citizens Advice and complete an Affidavit of Fraud statement and submit it to PayPal. I'm sure the UK has at least similar laws to the USA where you will not be held liable for these types of transactions. A F&F IS reversible, but you will need to force their hand to get them to do it.

That's really tough.
Contact Paypal and report the person to FB.

I guess start there. F&F is just never a good idea to use.

fb cant help lol,
now no one can help,
he just seen women and traped.i m sure real fb user are male but he used female name to trap him

This kind of scams are common on Craigslist ,I think OP is 'she '.
chalk it up to lesson learned.

You need to do a chargeback through your bank for "unathorized" it's the only way.
