180 days from last transaction or 180 days from a random date?
 

My account was limited for 180 days and the last transaction was on the 9th and they're telling me I will be able to withdraw the funds on the 14th instead of the 9th. As long as I've been doing this it's always been 180 days from the last transaction but they keep giving me this random number telling me its 14 instead of the 9th. Thoughts???

To start with the 180 days is from your last transaction. If you then appeal the 180 days is from the appeal denied email date.

Their giving a random date stating that the limitation was placed "this date". When it's normally 180 days after the last transaction rather then same random arbitrary number that the "system" has given.

The 180 day hold is from the last account transaction.

BUT

If you then appeal the limitation and fail your 180 day hold is counted from the date your appeal was denined

If the 180 day hold is from the last account transaction why the hell do they keep telling me that's the wrong date? What exactly do I have to say for them to understand. It's like I speak to about 5 agents who will say no that's wrong and about 2 will say thats right. Wtf.

This really confirms that you really can't trust anything any of them say to be honest which is insane. There is also no guarantee you will or will not get an email sometimes you do and sometimes you dont....

spoke to paypal -- 180 from the notice date date -- not from last transaction

You literally can't trust their information because another person from the same department will tell you something else.
