Documentation for business account?
 

What documents is Paypal going to ask for when I upgrade to a business account? Will they just want the EIN document or will they require LLC paperwork also?

They will ask for mail sent to business and maybe utlitly bill in company name.

someone just answered in another thread,
utility bill,bank statement,incorporation certificate, statement of good standing from the state,etc

They ask for all four. A letter in good standing is something provided by the state your business is registered in. Your state will provide this at no charge upon request usually after one year in business. Different states vary, so go into your particular states business registration website for more details. Paying monthly or quarterly sales tax filings on time, state licensing, registration, etc. puts your business in good standing. This is ridiculous as new businesses can't get one right out of the gate (for obvious reasons), yet it's one of four documents PayPal requests for new business PayPal accounts.

Same with me. I was asked ein. I provided it and it stated that they did not recognize the ein. I found out why. I had just got the ein that day and it takes 2 weeks for a new ein to show up in records. So I will readd it in two weeks . They also asked documents. ID and ss#. There was a link under the request that said I could do this later so I clicked that. So for now I am good but I did get the tax request documents this week too.

I have never been asked for more than last four of SS(use the EIN) and EIN itself.

We have been asked for articles of Corporation this past January. Just ignored it.

The notification is now gone asking for I'd and ss#. I tried to submit ein but not recognized it. Takes 2 weeks after getting ein. But I hit to give Id and social at a later time. Gonna give it a bit and try to upload ein again after 2 weeks. Account is still good today.

I just resubmitted it/ Maybe it will work this time and I won't have to verify anything. Last time they asked me for verifying docs a week after I submitted it, but once again it was a brand new EIN.

When you submitted last ein that you said was a new ein and week later they asked for documents, what documents were asked for? Did you provide them?
I just done my ein but will have to do it again so it shows the ein in records and hope they don't ask for documents. If so I may need some help in obtaining creative documents.
