Phone verification 2019
Alright so I should know better but probably screwed things up on my pp account, need some updated advice.
Had this account since 2017, no issues whatsoever. Probably ran about 3k worth of funds threw it already. Haven't used it since this new "accept money" thing happened. I made two sales one for about $100, the other $300. No holds from eBay or Paypal... money is free to withdraw (or I thought).
Problem is when I went to accept money and withdraw it asked me to send a text to my number on my account. Never verified my number at the time of account creation (I know your supposed to and I should have). Now I no longer have access to that phone number/phone.
Because I wanted to just fix this now I added my cell phone I have with Verizon. This is my main cell. I verified it, but then I have the common security check that doesn't allow me to withdraw. The system is now freaking out thinking I'm someone else and I'm all to familiar with this. After speaking with multiple people, one of them actually restricted my account where I had to upload the photo ID. Probably because I speak knowing more than them and one of them must of been emotional and restricted me. I fixed that by contacting that department without needing to send my ID but still have this inability to withdraw...
The guy told me to wait for the restriction to fall off, but..... now am I facing the name matching my phone problem? I honestly do not know enough about stealth with these new accounts. I know usually waiting 24-48 hours works but I also know if they do need to verify my number by cross checking my name then its a problem. My number is showing verified in the system, in the past it would usually just reject from the start if it was cross checking my name and found a difference. It wouldn't let me verify the code after I receive it, but it did this time...
