I am trying to create a new account and paypal is asking for verification of either SSN or ITIN
How can you get past this after 200/20k
Is stealth dead?

No stealth is certainly not dead, if you take the appropriate steps. If you try to create an account immediately and wing it without preparing, then you will have many more issues to overcome.

This is a very old account
How can I overcome this situation because I already have a paypal account under my SSN

The money in that account is certainly gone forever if you cannot provide a valid ssn for the account except you add a bank and withdraw

So we will have to continue using the account by only withdrawing to bank?

How can you add the EIN without them saying EIN and name dont match

This is not possible because paypal will check if ein or ssn matches with the name

Do you have ein? Name of business on ein and name of business on PayPal will have to match. You can get ein on line on irs site usually however it will take about two weeks for your new ein to show up in data base for it to checked.
I have normal pay pal account. Never gave social because could not. As I was getting closer to the 20/20000.00 they asked for tax info. I applied for ein. Waited 2 weeks.
Went into my PayPal account upgraded it to business. Added ein then business name and address. Asked for social and gave them last 4 of the ein.
I used that PayPal account for a short while after but then got the invite to managed payments so now not using PayPal at all. Using managed payments with my real info.
I do agree that accounts made prior to all these changes do seem to hold up longer and new accounts are having a harder time in being useable in eBay and PayPal. Not impossible tho

So if we can not use our real SSN we can not use paypal after the 200/20k with just EIN?

Just to be clear, the 200/20k rule has been almost a decade now. It is not new at all.

The new this year is only withdrawing to a checking account and no longer able to spend the balance.
