Paypal Asks for Verification as a US Taxpayer
 

Hi,

My stealth Paypal account is asking me for Verification as a US taxpayer. I have now 170 transactions and 4.5K.

I created this account since I had an eBay account that was restricted due to Below Standard Performance, but the Paypal account associated was never banned, and just for precaution I have never reuse it again.

My question is if there is any chance to get banned if I provide the documents from my original account or it is better to create a new stealth PP account and linked to eBay ?

There is a chance due to reuse of the documents.

As for your 2nd q, for some ppl it works but it's not the best way of stealth - never know truly how long it will last

are you using a different Ebay account now,since the other one is below standard?
you have to pair your new Ebay account with a new Paypal account ,else Ebay would link the two Ebay accounts with the shared Paypal account.
or you can use the old Ebay account and make improvements on your standing

No the old eBay acc was restricted with 0 listing limits. They are asking for proof of invoices of the item I was selling but I do not have it.

I just created a different eBay (stealth) account with new Paypal and paired without any problem and have been selling for around 3 months..

So far, ebays accounts have not been linked ( I think ) but to continue accepting payment on Paypal I have to proof my US taxpayer status , it implies SSN , ID, etc, and of course the info registered (name, address, ) does not match,

I am afraid when I submit my real info to Paypal:
1- paypal accept it ( since I have another account, not banned, with the same info )
2- once accepted, eBay wont link it to my banned account.

so your only problem now is coming up with the documents pAYPAL asked for.
we are allowed 2 Paypal accounts,like I have two,same name,same SSN,address,phone etc.
Ebay would not link your second Paypal account to your old Paypal account,not that I know of.
It would be able to link if it is just another email address from the same Paypal account.
Maybe someone will verify if this is still so

did you open your second Paypal account with different name,address etc,if so,then you cant use your SSN?

Yes, it is a completely different new Paypal account ( name, address, phone number )



I think opening a real 2nd Paypal account ( Bussiness one ) with the correct info , just a different email address and phone number and then link it to stealth eBay account should works.
