Opal ask for invoice. Selling personal items? What to do?
 

Hi I had a big spike in sales this week about 1000£ more than usual. Obv I got flagged(I should have spread them over accounts)(oh well lesson learned). Question is. I state on eBay that these items are from my personal collection. PayPal are asking for a invoice from supplier. I cannot provide this as these are my personal items. What can I do. IV provided everything else they asked for. Can't call as the stealth is in a woman's name and I'm a guy. Help always appreciated. Ta

Seriously, I'd call in. Go with "yah I've never liked this girl name my parents gave me" or "I'm on HRT making the transition". eBay is very liberal...

Without calling in there isn't much you can do, aside from submitting phake invoices which are hard to find and have a low success rate. They're a lot more receptive to excuses from sellers when you're talking in real time over the phone. Gives them less time to poke holes in your story.

But the passport submitted a few years ago is clearly a woman. Seriously I should call and say I'm trans. There's got to be a better way?

I have called with a female stealth lots of times and not once have they questioned me.
