Instant Transfer Requirements

Searched the forums and all I could find was info from '08 that didnt really help. What are the instant transfer requirments. I have a simon card and bank account verified on the account. Is there an amount that automatically triggers not being able to do an instant transfer. Maybe if i had it broken into a few smaller transactions. Or do I need to add another bank account? I saw something about that on here. And help is greatly appreciated as the items are time sensitive which is why the whole echeck thing wont really work for me right now.

All I know is that you need a bank acct + cc...but if that didn't work then there may be a time factor too (ie like the pp debit card)

Call me thick, but I don't understand your question.

What are you trying to do, and how are you attempting to achieve that goal?

Vic, I think they're trying to pay for something by instant transfer (not echeck) when their paypal balance is 0 (for simplicity's sake). Now what are the requirements for that? I was always under the impression that a CC and Bank acct would be great and an instant transfer wouldn't be a problem but I don't know if there's a time consideration that paypal looks at.

Well i have both verified B'AC and CC and still cant pay using BT

:(

Vicvelcro 09-01-2009 04:57 PM

I don't get the abbreviations you are using. WTF is B'AC and BT?

If your PP balance is ZERO and your bank account is savings and your CC is maxed out, you ain't doing anything.

BAC= bank account (pommy speak)
BT = bank transfer (pommy speak)

this is where it gets complicated as DHMC also posted in the UK section about his troubles: shame he did not link that so others could follow....:peace:

Ah. Then #8 applies properly.

Um, what's a pommy?

GreenBean 09-01-2009 06:09 PM

Um pommy= English, from the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
