September 15th Deadline
 

It Appears that several of the members of this community(Including me) have received the following notice from PayPal:

"IRS Form W-9 required

We recently contacted you because the name and Tax Identification Number (TIN) we have on file doesn't match the information on file with the IRS. We want to ensure that you're sending the right document to correct your account information. The IRS policy requires PayPal to obtain from you a form W-9 to correct your mismatch."
DUE BY SEP 15TH

This Business Is in My name, the personal name on the Stealth of course, is not. The W9 form requires BOTH name of Business and Filers Name.
EIN and Address is not an issue.
How Do I rectify getting Business Name and The Stealth Name to work??
1)If I submit my Real Name of course it will not match immediately to the Stealth Name on PayPal, wouldn't that raise red flags??

2)If I submit the fictitious Stealth name and the Business Name, would that work, I mean I file this income anyway?

Anyone Gone Through this before?

I went through it - and lost the account. Apparently the only way to get it to match up (for single member LLC's) is to give EIN + your personal name. It was a few years ago now but I remember repeatedly trying to submit the W-9, and Paypal's upload form wouldn't even accept it unless it was filled out a certain way.

The account is 2 1/2 years old. Sales avg 100k per year. Very solid account.

If I put my personal name and llc name- it will just go to **** right.
If I put the stealth name and the llc name - will i have a shot?

No, because it won't match IRS records without your personal name.

I uploaded the stealth name/Business name and EIN. Wish me luck guys and I'll keep you guys posted.

I put in the Stealth Name, then I put in the Business Name, Then I put the EIN Name.
It All Cleared!!!!!!!!!!!!
