Bank bounce/return money to paypal uk - will it kill paypal?
 

I know if names don't match paypal limit the account when money is returned but what if the name matches? Do they think "the banks suspicious - so we are too" or does the money just go back into your pp?

So you're saying both the names match. Bank & paypal. But the bank refused the withdrawal you made from Paypal and it will now be returned to Paypal ?

You might be OK, but I wouldn't be surprised if it triggers a manual review.

Why did your withdrawal bounce anyway ? that is unusual.

If name matches, why would bank be suspicious? And usually, money - when returned - just goes into the pp

Sometimes the money is returned to Paypal but somehow Paypal does not credit your account,it has problem finding which account to credit based on the return transaction codes.
but you should ask your bank if the names match,why does it reject the incoming deposit?

Wasn't an issue in the end. Just got a notification from my account provider saying the transaction was under 48 hour review, usually just goes straight in, so thought they may end up bouncing it back. It was released after a few hours into my account. :clap:
